I have been a dietitian for over 20 years and bring many ingredients to the table. I love bringing nutrition and culinary arts together in the kitchen and counseling space to allow individuals an opportunity to attain a level of culinary nutrition education that encompasses a more approachable, harmonious lifestyle. My goal is to facilitate meaningful healthier relationships with food and movement among my clients!

I have a BA in Psychology from St. Louis University and BS in Nutrition and Dietetics from University of Illinois – Chicago, a MS in Nutrition and Physical Performance from St. Louis University, and a PhD in Higher Education and Student Affairs Leadership from the University of Northern Colorado. I also have a certificate in Culinary Arts from Boston University to aid in bridging culinary and nutrition.
why im a dietitian
20 plus years ago I didn't even know what a dietitian was and could be. After exploring various medical careers, I landed in the nutrition and wellness space and since then so many doors have opened. I have been able to work with parents and their children to develop approachable easy meal ideas, consulted with individuals diagnosed with diabetes, celiac disease, and eating disorders trying to work towards a healthier lifestyle, and students and athletes trying to reach goals that make them feel confident and optimistic. I have worked in kitchens, classrooms, and clinics, all while facilitating the opportunities to build relationships with food, health, and movement; walking alongside these individuals and learning how to be a better dietitian and educator over the years. My why now is to connect and build relationships with others, while empowering and inspiring them to properly nourish themselves and feel confident in these daily decisions!
