Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist

No Diet Dietitian is a fast-growing telehealth nutrition counseling company helping people stop dieting and start living. Our nationwide team of Registered Dietitians provides compassionate, evidence-based care to clients across the U.S.

We’re looking for a Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our billing department by handling patient communications, following up on outstanding balances, and assisting with insurance-related questions. This role is ideal for someone who’s highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at helping patients understand and resolve billing issues in a kind, professional way.

What You’ll Do:
  • Contact patients regarding unpaid balances, copays, and deductibles via phone and email.

  • Provide clear, empathetic explanations of charges, insurance coverage, and account balances.
  • Follow up on overdue invoices and payment plans while maintaining a positive patient experience.
  • Respond to patient inquiries related to billing, insurance, and payment options.
  • Collaborate with the Billing Manager to resolve billing discrepancies or claim issues.
  • Communicate with insurance companies as needed to confirm payment status or coverage.
  • Maintain accurate notes and documentation of all billing-related communications.
  • Support the billing team with daily administrative tasks such as invoice preparation and account updates.

What We’re Looking For:
  • 2+ years of experience in medical billing, healthcare customer service, or accounts receivable.
  • Strong communication skills — able to explain financial information clearly and professionally.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to resolving billing concerns.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Comfortable navigating EHR or billing systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of insurance claims, EOBs, and payment reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel (sorting, filtering, and basic formulas).
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Administrative Coordinator

Our nationwide team of Registered Dietitians provides compassionate, evidence-based care to clients across the U.S. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, resourceful Administrative Coordinator to support our CEO. This role is ideal for someone who’s organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll handle day-to-day administrative tasks that keep the CEO’s schedule, communications, and priorities running smoothly — from managing inboxes and calendars to preparing reports, documents, and presentations. 

If you enjoy supporting leaders behind the scenes, keeping things organized, and anticipating needs before they arise, this is the perfect fit.

What You’ll Do:
  • Manage and organize the CEO’s calendar, appointments, and meetings.
  • Monitor and prioritize incoming emails, drafting or preparing responses when appropriate.
  • Prepare and proofread reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Conduct research, compile information, and summarize key details for quick decision-making.
  • Track deadlines and ensure important follow-ups don’t fall through the cracks.
  • Assist with meeting preparation — creating agendas, gathering materials, and taking notes.
  • Maintain organized digital files and documents.
  • Support travel coordination, special projects, and other administrative needs as requested.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

What We’re Looking For:
  • 2+ years of experience providing administrative support to leadership or management.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication — clear, polished, and professional.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Drive).
  • High attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Tech-savvy, adaptable, and comfortable learning new tools quickly.
  • Reliable, self-directed, and comfortable working independently in a fully remote setting.
