Meet Emily

As a Registered Dietitian, my approach to nutrition counseling is evidence-based, compassionate, and client-centered. I aim to create a nonjudgmental space where we can explore what works best for you—because you’re the expert on your body, and I’m here to support you in making sustainable changes that align with your values and goals.

FAVORITE FOOD

Shakshuka or pasta with a spicy tomato sauce!

in my free time you'll find me

You can usually find me taking a reformer Pilates class, playing tennis, or walking my dog, Scottie. I live just outside of Washington, D.C. and love exploring the city—especially new restaurants and coffee shops!

education

I earned my Bachelor’s in Dietetics and Master’s in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Vermont.

why im a dietitian

I grew up watching the Food Network and dreaming about opening my own bakery. Studying nutrition in college felt like a natural next step—I loved learning about the science behind food and how it all connects to our bodies. During my master’s program and internship, I saw just how powerful supportive, non-judgmental nutrition care can be, especially when it comes to things like disordered eating and body image. Being a dietitian lets me do what I love most: talk about food, explain the science in a way that makes sense, and build real connections with people.

And who knows—maybe that bakery will still happen someday!
