As a dietitian and certified diabetes educator, I meet clients where they are because no two people are the same and there are many reasons for what, how and why someone eats what they do. My approach is to be collaborative, supportive, relatable and to genuinely listen to help each person build confidence in their nutrition knowledge, skills and choices they make. Eating is about balance; it’s important to fuel our bodies for health but to also enjoy what we eat!
why im a dietitian
I always knew I wanted a career that involved helping others but I wasn’t sure what that would look like for me. When I started in my undergraduate program, it didn’t take long to realize nutrition was the right fit; I love to talk with others and food is a part of everything we do. It has given me the chance to improve my own health and well-being while also being a source of support for others I work with. It has been a fulfilling journey so far!

Reading books and spending time with my husband and two sons playing outside, camping, biking and cheering on our favorite sports teams, including my boys’ activities!
