I’m a pediatric dietitian passionate about helping kids, families, and adults feel their best — without the stress of diets or strict food rules. I began my career in a children’s hospital, providing both inpatient and outpatient care. I loved supporting patients from infancy through young adulthood with a wide range of needs — from malnutrition and chronic GI issues to food allergies, enteral feeding, and picky eating. Those experiences taught me that every child and family is unique, and that nutrition works best when approached with compassion and flexibility.
While kids will always have my heart, I also enjoy working with adults, especially those navigating GI concerns, helping them regain comfort, confidence, and balance with food. My holistic approach considers the whole picture — including food, sleep, stress, movement, and joy — so each person can build a peaceful, sustainable relationship with food that supports their overall well-being.
why im a dietitian
My journey to becoming a Dietitian started with seeing how deeply food impacts well-being, both abroad and at home. After living overseas for five years, I noticed how access to healthy, affordable food can shape not only health but also daily life and happiness. When I returned to the U.S., I spent two years in AmeriCorps teaching cooking and nutrition to families with limited resources, which showed me how powerful it is to give people the tools and confidence to nourish themselves and their families.
What drives me is the belief that food is so much more than just fuel—it’s a way to connect, celebrate, and create joy in everyday life. I’m passionate about helping people feel empowered in the kitchen, enjoy meals without stress, and find confidence in feeding themselves and their loved ones. The greatest reward comes from seeing someone realize that healthy, affordable, and delicious food is not just possible—it can be a source of comfort and pride.

In my free time, you’ll usually find me on a yoga mat, out on the trails with my two rescue pups, Winifred and Aurora, or getting lost in a good audiobook. I’m a big fan of reading, traveling, and cooking—and I love discovering new places (and recipes!) whenever I can.
