I have been a registered dietitian for almost 20 years and a certified diabetes care and education specialist (CDCES) for a little over 15 years. My approach to nutrition counseling is rooted in the belief that there is no magic button or one way to eat, that change comes from chipping away at current beliefs/behaviors and supporting each patient with empathy, understanding, and the knowledge that you can do this!!! I'm here to support you—not with judgment, but with care and practical guidance that fits your life and the foods that you like to eat.

why im a dietitian
My love for nutrition started at the age of 6 when I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. I had an amazing dietitian who had a very all inclusive approach to food. I didn’t know it then, but my diagnosis would lead me on a path to serve others through nutrition education and counseling. When I was 20 years old I went to an outpatient clinic and learned how to use an insulin pump and later a CGM. From that day forward diabetes tech along with nutrition education have been a part of my practice. I truly love what I do and feel privileged to help each client achieve their ultimate health goals through education, encouragement, and setting realistic goals, goals that mean something to you.
