why im a dietitian
Growing up, I experienced a range of GI issues that eventually led to discovering several food sensitivities. That journey sparked my fascination with nutrition and the unique roles different foods and nutrients play in our bodies. While in college, I had the opportunity to shadow a NICU dietitian, and it was a truly defining moment. Watching a tiny newborn grow and develop through thoughtfully provided nutrition made me realize just how powerful and purposeful nourishment can be in supporting overall health & well-being. From then on, I knew I was meant to become a dietitian. As a self-proclaimed foodie dietitian, I take a non-judgmental approach to food & nutrition and encourage my clients to choose foods that not only honor their health but satisfy their taste buds.
